My commissions are varied in size, medium and subject. I have done portraits and design work, conceptual drawings, fantasy art paintings and illustrations for stories; graphic novel, children's book illustration, and role playing game material. I reserve all rights to my work save those instances where rights are specifically sold by contract, usually for one time publication.
Styles depend on what is asked for, but in general my work is representational in nature, even though I have done some abstracts. My usual medium is two dimensional usually worked on heavy Bristol board and includes pencil, pen and ink, or watercolor, but I am familiar with colored pencils, scratch-board, acrylic on board or canvas, oil on canvas, charcoal, pastels, oil pastels, and have done some three dimensional sculpture in clay and carved wax.
In general when asking for my artwork, color refers to watercolor, ink is black on white background, and pencil refers to soft carbon pencil on white background. Variations and combinations can be made, but this is what I work with usually.
Depending on what you ask for, the more complex the figures and detail all adds to the price, but if you can give me any of these variables: size, medium, content of the piece, I will be better able to tell you what the price would be. Anywhere from 30 dollars for a quick pencil sketch on up into the thousands for a larger watercolor.
